- This white paper proposes an original approach aiming to minimize both CAPEX and OPEX inherent to Electrical Regenerator ER placement. Three linear transmission impairments are considered: ASE Amplified Spontaneous Emission, PMD Polarization Mode Dispersion and Intra-Channel crosstalk ICX.
